The objective of TaskIT is to revolutionize the way individuals and teams manage their tasks, providing a cloud-based solution with a comprehensive set of features. Our primary goal is to enhance the user experience by completely redesigning the platform, starting with a unique design language that reflects our core values and principles. TaskIT will be an omni-channel experience, seamlessly accessible across all devices, enabling users to stay connected and productive wherever they are. Our aim is to drive user engagement and empower individuals and teams to accomplish their tasks with ease.
To achieve this objective, we have introduced several exciting new features to TaskIT. These include advanced task management capabilities such as color-coded categories, real-time notifications, and more. Users will benefit from a more streamlined and intuitive user experience, allowing them to effortlessly navigate the platform and quickly locate the resources they need.
By implementing these enhancements, TaskIT provides numerous advantages to users. The new version of TaskIT offers an improved user experience, making it easier for individuals and teams to organize, track, and complete tasks efficiently. Collaboration is also a key focus, enabling teams to work together seamlessly, leading to faster development of innovative and practical solutions. Our objective is to empower users with a powerful task management tool that not only simplifies their workflow but also enhances their productivity and success in achieving their goals.
■ Confusing navigation and difficulty in finding tasks
■ Boring List view that hindered productivity
■ Inefficient communication between tasks and team members
■ Time-consuming and effort-intensive Ideathon creation process
Development of a unique design system that is consistent with Task-IT's theme and philosophy.
Addition of new features such as color-coded task organization, comment section for ideal collaboration across teams, notifications, advanced filter system to speed up task search, multi-view system for an ideal experience.
Streamlined and intuitive user experience, making it easier for users to navigate the platform and locate the resources they require.
Improved communication as a team and between teams through the addition of features such as comments and tasks.
This phase involves gathering insights into the target audience, understanding their needs, pain points, and preferences related to task management.
Design goals may include improving task organization, enhancing collaboration features, streamlining navigation, and ensuring cross-platform accessibility.
We explore various approaches to address the identified user needs and align them with the defined design goals. Sketches, wireframes, and prototypes are created to visualize and evaluate different design options.
The design concepts are then transformed into interactive prototypes through an iterative design process. These prototypes are shared with potential users and stakeholders to gather valuable feedback.
The UI elements, typography, color scheme, and visual hierarchy are carefully crafted to create an aesthetically pleasing and intuitive interface.
The finalized design is handed off to the development team for implementation. They work closely with the design team to ensure the design vision is faithfully translated into a functional and responsive task management system.
Task-IT is launched to a select group of users, gathering real-world feedback and data. User analytics, feedback forms, and usage metrics are collected to assess the effectiveness of the design and identify areas for improvement.
